Here is how you can spend about 10 days in Cambodia:
Day1 – Travel from Bangkok to Siem Reap. You can see a detailed info about our trip here.
Day 2, 3, 4 – Explore the ancient temples of Angkor
Day 2 – On the first day of your stay in Siem Reap you can check Angkor Wat, Chao Say Tevoda, Thomannon,Ta Prohm and Bayon. Check out our first day at Angkor here.
Day 3 – On the second day you can explore more thoroughly Angkor Thom, as well as Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Pre Rup and East Mebon. Here is how we spent our 2nd day.
Day 4 – On your third day at Angkor you can go to a temple which is a bit more distant, but unique and extremely beautiful – Banteay Srei. On your way back you can check some other temples and then catch a late bus to Phnom Penh. Our last day at Angkor.
Day 5 – We spent one day in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh. However, you can skip it and head directly to the seaside.
Day 6 – We chose to spent our days at the seaside on Otres beach, close to the town of Sihanoukville. To reach it we took a bus from Phnom Penh.
Day 7 – chillin on the beach
Day 8 – boat trip to nearby islands
Day 9 – travel to Saigon
Day 10 – catch a flight to Bangkok
